Tails Of Freedom

Tails of Freedom began with a small but dedicated mission, caring for over 50 abandoned dogs and cats, many of whom were rescued off the streets. From the start, the shelter struggled to cover the basic costs of feeding the animals and supporting the volunteer staff who work tirelessly to care for them. While they receive occasional donations, they aren’t well-known enough to secure the steady support needed to cover daily expenses.

On our most recent visit, we learned that Tails of Freedom had merged with another private shelter. This second shelter had been abandoned by its former leader, who disappeared years ago, leaving the staff and animals without resources. The remaining caretaker refused to give up on the animals, facing immense challenges to keep the shelter going. There were times in the past three years when she had to share her own food with the dogs to survive. Without electricity, stable rent payments for the shelter, or adequate food, she eventually reached out to Tails of Freedom, and the shelters decided to merge.

Now, Tails of Freedom cares for over 300 dogs and 50 cats and is in urgent need of financial assistance. The shelter still struggles to meet the basic nutritional and medical needs of the animals. Recently, a severe storm damaged their building, leaving parts of the shelter with broken roofs and walls. They now need funds not only for food and medicine but also to repair the shelter and provide essentials like blankets to keep the animals warm and dry.

Our community has rallied behind Tails of Freedom, committing to donate all proceeds from our NFT sales to support them. We’re dedicated to providing ongoing assistance to help Tails of Freedom continue their life-saving work.
